Between the crazy busy wedding season this past fall, I had the honor of capturing this dreamy Cape Cod MA Engagement session of this beautiful couple! Pat + Brittany’s session was stunning. We captured their lovely pictures at a few different spots around cape cod in MA.
Cape Cod MA Engagement Session
For the first part of their engagement session, we ventured to a lovely spot on a walking path surrounded by lush greenery and the glowing sun. Brittany wore a beautiful magenta dress, and Pat wore a sleek blue grey suit. They did a quick outfit change, and we headed to the romantic tall grass leading up the beach for sunset. I absolutely loved Brittany’s light green dress. It was perfect for their sunset beach engagement session.
We ended Pat and Brittany’s Cape Cod session on the rocky shoreline! I loved capturing them on the rocks extending out into the ocean. The sunlight couldn’t have been more perfect out on the horizon glistening on the water. These two had a blast and kicked up some water as the tide flowed in and out on the beach.
My favorite aspect of engagement sessions is getting to know the couple! I love learning all about a couple and how they met! Here is a bit of Brittany and Pat’s story!
How Did You Meet?
“We met like any other grand love story…on the one and only dating app Hinge. We have been together two years and both knew pretty early on this was something special and as Brittany’s friends said “end game” from date 2.”
The Proposal
“We love that you were there! Pat proposed in Brittany’s favorite spot in Boston, Fan Pier in Seaport. In usual Boston weather, Pat thought he was safe with a July 2nd proposal but of course Boston had other plans. It was a cool 50 degrees and rainy on and off all weekend but Pat had arranged our families to be there as well as a photographer so the show went on. Pat proposed and both their parents and siblings jumped out of the bushes to surprise Brittany and they celebrated with dinner and drinks all night.”
Their Favorite Things To Do Together
“We love miniature golf, going to the driving range followed by Chick-Fil-A date nights . . . exploring new cities and restaurants all over New England. We survived quarantine together with lots of rounds of Monopoly deal and Mario Kart on the switch.”
What is One Thing You Love Most About Each Other?
Brittany: “I love that Pat is so calm, caring and loves me for exactly who I am. It feels like home whenever I’m with him and he has blended in with my family so effortlessly. Our values are so similar.”
Pat: “I love most about Brit is her smile and laugh. She can brighten a room and bring people into conversation and make them feel comfortable when she may have only met them 5 mins ago. She has such strong values and it’s something I admire so much.”
Brittany and Pat were such a joy to photograph! Their session was full of laughter and love. I can’t wait to capture their Massachusetts wedding at Willowdale Estate next year! Until then, enjoy my favorite moments from their Cape Cod MA engagement session!
