I had the best time capturing Dave and Sarah’s Cape Cod Engagement Session at The Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. Their beautiful engagement session took place on a perfect summer afternoon in July! (I can’t believe I haven’t shared these yet!) Dave proposed to Sarah just before their elegant dinner at the Wequassett Resort. He did such a good job planning out his surprise proposal, which took place at their house, privately, because Dave knew that Sarah wanted a more intimate proposal with just the two of them. To celebrate, Dave planned a romantic dinner for them at one of their favorite restaurants. The Wequassett Resort was the perfect place to celebrate their big news, as this stunning venue is a place their families frequent and has special meaning to them.
Cape Cod Engagement Session
Dave had this whole day planned out! He booked their reservations and had asked me to meet them there at the Wequassett right after their dinner was set to end. Sarah had no idea I would be there to capture them for a surprise engagement session! The Wequassett is a dream location! I loved walking around the grounds of the venue. The view out over the water is breathtaking and would be a gorgeous location for an elegant Cape Cod wedding!
After Dave and Sarah shared a glass of champagne and toasted to their future together, they had some fun out on the lush green grass as Dave picked Sarah up and twirled her around. I loved watching the two of them interact as they laughed together, and I grabbed some amazing candid photos of the two of them. After we finished their photos at The Wequassett, we made a quick trip to their house right down the road to take a few photos down by the water with their sweet dog! This pup is ADORABLE! I just love the big floppy ears!
