Nicole + Paul’s beautiful New Hampshire Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse Wedding was an absolute dream. I have been waiting for Nicole + Paul’s wedding day since last spring when I captured their enchanting Golden Hour Tulip Farm engagement session! This stunning wedding venue features panoramic water views with grounds lined with mature trees, beautiful landscaping, and an elegant, rustic Cyderhouse where the reception took place.
Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse features amazing getting ready areas that provide stunning natural light. All the light that streamed in the spaces created the perfect space for capturing all the beautiful wedding details and light and airy portraits of the bride and groom getting ready. Nicole shared an emotional first look with her dad followed by a memorable first look with her soon-to-be husband, Paul, out on the covered wrap-around porch.
Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse Wedding
After the couple shared an intimate moment together just the two of them, the wedding festivities officially began. Their beautiful outdoor ceremony was held out on the gorgeous property under the trees. The bridesmaids wore stunning, floor-length, Sage green dresses. I loved the colorful, vibrant wedding bouquets featuring lemon yellow and white flowers. It was such a fun, bright pop of color to their joyful wedding day. I LOVED how they incorporated lemons into their wedding day theme! It was beautifully intertwined throughout the day.
Paul and Nicole’s wedding was the hottest day of the year that I worked. Thankfully the maple trees overhead provided some shade from the sun and the humid 90+ degree day. Even though it rained from the high humidity, we still managed to get amazing wedding pictures.
New Hampshire Wedding Reception
During both the ceremony and reception they had sweet details honoring Nicole’s mother in heaven. It was incredibly touching and a lovely tribute. After the gorgeous outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour on the porch, everyone moved inside for the reception! I loved the high vaulted ceiling, rustic beams, and stone fireplace. It was a charming and warm event space. The couple incorporated lemons and eucalyptus in the center of the tables as well as vases with yellow and white flowers. It made the space feel more fresh, light, and open than it already was.
After sharing a first dance as husband and wife, I stole the newlyweds away for gorgeous sunset wedding portraits around the property. It was a perfect day from beginning to end. I also loved that I was able to shoot film photos for their wedding. Their wedding day was filled with so many wonderful, memorable moments, and was truly a reflection of them. It was an honor to capture Nicole and Paul’s New Hampshire wedding. Having known Nicole from my old corporate job, it was an honor to capture this special moment for the two of them.
