This colorful Wadsworth Mansion Wedding in Middletown, Connecticut was incredible! The creative team that worked on this wedding editorial knocked it out of the park! It’s always an honor to be a part of a collaboration like this and work on a team with so many talented creatives. The elegant Wadsworth Mansion is a breathtaking wedding venue, and this historic landmark features ample indoor and outdoor space to host the wedding of your dreams!
One of my favorite aspects of this styled wedding were the colors that were chosen! The amazing Brehant Creations put together a wonderful, bright color pallet that included bold hues of yellow, as well as varying shades of blue and purple. Each detail was carefully planned and crafted by the creative team, from the wedding cake to each item in the table setting.
The cake was one of my favorite wedding items! I loved the strokes of bright colors on the side and the elegant purple flowers as the cake topper. The bride’s bouquet was simply stunning, filled with an array of flowers that accented the bright and fun color pallet of the styled wedding. I loved the addition of the bubbly station! It was such a fun and unique idea that I am sure will inspire many couples planning their big day. Even the color of the champagne was perfectly coordinated to the shoot, and it added lovely pops of color in yellow and purple!
Wadsworth Mansion Styled Wedding
Along with the stunning wedding details, I captured the lovely bride and groom all over the manicured grounds of the mansion. The dramatic entrance to the Wadsworth Mansion is a lovely backdrop for wedding portraits, as is the mansion’s back patio! I love the addition of the lilac leather jacket the bride wore from Kimberly George Art! This is the perfect wedding accessory for the end of a wedding night celebration. The jacket would be ideal for someone dancing the night away on that amazing back patio! I love the coordination of color between the bride and groom too. The bride wore these beautiful yellow earrings, and the groom wore a complementary yellow bowtie.
This styled wedding shoot is an amazing inspiration for all those couples dreaming of non-traditional wedding colors. The bright, bold, and eye-catching colors marry beautifully, and still give way to a truly elegant and unique wedding experience.
The historic charm and elegance of the venue was truly inspiring, and I can’t wait to shoot at this location again! I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to capture this gorgeous, styled wedding and work with such an amazing team of creatives! As you look through these images, I hope they spark joy and inspiration as you gain ideas for your own wedding day!
