I knew from the first moment I met Kathryn and Mike, that their Hamilton Hall wedding day was going to be amazing. They detailed their wedding day vision as we walked the shores of Wingaersheek Beach for their engagement session. This charming wedding venue in Salem, MA is filled with history and features a gothic edge. It not only was the perfect venue for their wedding day to unfold, but provides a wonderful option for winter weddings in New England.
Hamilton Hall is a historic landmark that sits in a seaside town in Salem, not far from Boston. However, it’s also known as one of the most important Federal buildings in the nation. Its rich history and focal point of the community has made it a popular choice of weddings, events, and meetings since its establishment. When searching for wedding venues, it was Mike who found this venue. Upon viewing it, Kathryn fell in love with it, and felt instantly that it was the one.
Timeless Hamilton Hall Wedding
Their timeless wedding day featured a classic black and white color palette. Everything felt sophisticated, refined, and intentional. Kathryn’s strapless wedding gown with a long train was stunning, and paired with the classic black tux that Mike wore. The bridesmaids and groomsmen followed suit with the women wearing black dresses in different styles, and the guys wearing black tuxes. The clean and classic, white flowers that made up the wedding bouquets and decorated the wedding ceremony and reception space were the icing on the cake to this elegant wedding.
Kathryn and Mike wanted editorial style photos, so we focused a lot on capturing those storytelling moments with an artistic, high-end feel. This photography style complemented the wedding vibe and venue so well.
The couple’s wedding ceremony and reception both took place in the Grand Ballroom with gold mirrors, crown moulding, and a stunning Italian Chandelier. The ceremony space beautifully transformed into the dance floor for the reception. As the night unfolded, that dance floor filled up and laughter floated around the room.
