As a Newport, RI wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless love stories at the most stunning venues. Belle Mer A Longwood Venue is one of those venues! It is a luxury wedding destination that promises to make your special day truly unforgettable. This gorgeous Newport venue completely blew me away. It has everything you could want in an elegant property. It was an honor to capture this elegant, coastal Belle Mer wedding located on the picturesque Goat Island.
Luxurious Newport Wedding
Belle Mer offers breathtaking waterfront views of Narragansett Bay, which created a magical backdrop for this couple’s wedding day. This sprawling venue boasts over 7 acres of pristine lawns, beautifully manicured gardens, and sleek modern architecture that exudes sophistication and class.
This beautiful couple are perfectly matched and completely in love. Their love and connection was visible all day, from their first look by the water to their first dance. I loved the groom’s white tux and the bride’s strapless gown and long hair styled in romantic loose curls all of which added to the sophisticated, elegant style.
Coastal Belle Mer Wedding
The couple’s waterfront, outdoor wedding ceremony was a dream! After exchanging their vows, the newlyweds made their grand entrance to their reception at The Water Salon, Belle Mer’s exquisite indoor event space. This luxurious space featured floor-to-ceiling windows allowing natural light to pour in, creating a bright and airy ambiance. The timeless reception details, from the tall vases of white roses accented with greenery, to the various candles arranged on the table all added to the romantic atmosphere. Belle Mer has an amazing wedding planner and florist who worked together to create gorgeous florals and plan each and every detail flawlessly.
Once the newlyweds stole their first dance together and enjoyed a couple wedding toasts, we snuck back outside to capture the most gorgeous sunset wedding portraits overlooking Narragansett Bay. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful sunset. It was the perfect ending to this glamorous seaside wedding!
The venue’s stunning coastal location, elegant architecture, and meticulous attention to detail make for truly stunning photos. Whether it’s a romantic sunset kiss on the lawn like these two enjoyed, a candid moment during cocktail hour, or a joyous dance on the dance floor, Belle Mer provides a wealth of backdrops. This luxurious and romantic Newport wedding is one that I will be dreaming about! I can’t wait to capture another wedding at this elegant venue!
