Nicole and Tim are a super sweet couple that I recently photographed for their Ochre Court Newport Engagement session! I’ve known Nicole for over 10 years now, back from when we worked at a summer camp together as camp counselors! Needless to say, it was such an honor to capture these high school sweethearts for their gorgeous engagement session.

Ochre Court in Newport, RI is located at Salve Regina University situated along Newport’s famed Cliff Walk. This stunning building, inspired by the late medieval period French architecture, serves as one of the university’s administration buildings. I love all the architectural details of Ochre Court’s exterior, which features towers, tall chimneys, and even gargoyles. It is a beautiful place to visit and makes for an impressive, elegant wedding venue!

We had the best time strolling around the grounds of Ochre Court and taking in the gorgeous scenery. Nicole looked stunning in her chic, white dresses. Their light-colored, neutral clothing photographed beautifully against the grandeur of the mansion and the green landscape. These two had such natural chemistry together. Having been together for 10 years, you could tell they had such a connection. I didn’t need to tell them what to do at all, as they effortlessly went into poses making them their own. They were so natural in front of the camera and you could tell they also had fun doing it, which I love!
