The only thing better than a summer wedding is an oceanfront summer wedding! I recently had the great joy of capturing this stunning coastal Newport wedding at Castle Hill Inn. Nestled on the stunning coastline of Newport, RI, this extraordinary venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for a timeless celebration. It is easy to see why this couple chose this elegant wedding property as the setting for their dreamy New England style wedding.
Coastal Newport Wedding at Castle Hill Inn
The gorgeous bride wore a sophisticated, silk gown with a long flowing veil embroidered with flowers along the edges. Her bridal bouquet was a simple, timeless arrangement of white roses. Her bridesmaids looked chic in long, silk champagne dresses. Their white flower bouquets popped with a hint of small blue flowers. I loved the subtle difference between their bouquets!
Once ready, the bride met her groom out on the oceanfront lawn for an intimate first look. After savoring the moment, the bride met her dad in the tented reception space for a quick first look before the ceremony started. I also took this opportunity to take in the gorgeous details of the reception before the events unfolded. The amazing wedding planner’s meticulous attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the event was flawlessly executed and reflected the couple’s impeccable taste and the timeless beauty of the venue. The talented florist transformed the tented reception with tall floral centerpieces for the round tables, and low, sprawling white flower centerpieces for the long head table. Twinkling lights and candles added a romantic glow, creating an ambiance that was both grand and intimate.
Oceanfront Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place on the Chalet Lawn overlooking the sparkling waters of the Atlantic. The florist created a stunning scene with lush blooms lining the wedding aisle that drew your gaze toward the beautiful wedding arch made of white flowers and greenery. The couple also made sure to honor the mom of the bride who had passed. Their touching tribute included a seat for her in the front row of the ceremony with a hand stitched pillow, and gorgeous summer flowers surrounding it, as well as a loving note about her in their wedding program. As the heartfelt ceremony unfolded, the bride and groom exchanged vows, laughs, tears, and “I dos”.
Afterwards, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the lawn before heading inside the Sperry tent. Guests marveled in the enchanting atmosphere, savoring every moment as they dined and danced the night away. The bride and groom’s coastal Newport wedding was a fairytale brought to life. The remarkable venue, with its captivating views and elegant spaces, set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. Castle Hill Inn is the perfect fusion of timeless elegance and coastal allure.
