Jess and Ben, where do I even begin? Their timeless New England summer wedding at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA was the perfect blend of romantic elegance, gorgeous florals, and quintessential New England charm. From start to finish, every moment of their wedding day was filled with so much love and joy. It was an absolute honor to photograph their day.

I first got to know Jess and Ben during their Intimate Engagement Session at Tree House Brewing Company, and from the start, I knew they were something special. Their connection is genuine and magnetic. Their engagement session was so much fun and filled with authentic and candid moments. It felt like I was just following them on a date and they had a blast together, which was evident in every image. Their wedding day was no different. They are a perfect match, so genuine and sweet together. In fact, even Jess’s mom predicted their future together from the moment she first met Ben!

Jess’s mom was the one who first spotted Ben while he was working at a hotel and told him, “You’re going to marry my daughter.” As bold as that might sound, it turns out she was right. Fast forward to their wedding day, and the rest is history.

Timeless Willowdale Estate Wedding

Willowdale Estate is one of my favorite Massachusetts wedding venues for so many reasons. Nestled in the heart of the North Shore, the property offers a variety of dreamy backdrops for portraits. From the stone architecture to the lush gardens and acres of forest nearby, it’s a photographer’s dream and truly offers gorgeous spots around every corner.

Jess and Ben chose Willowdale because they loved the idea of an all-in-one venue where they could celebrate with all of their loved ones in both indoor and outdoor spaces. It was actually the first venue they toured, and they knew instantly that no others could compare. The stunning layout and private estate feel won them over instantly and they knew it was the perfect place to bring their wedding vision to life.

The day’s design was a classic New England summer dream. Their wedding colors featured hydrangea blues, whites, soft grays, and fresh green from the lush florals. It was timeless, elegant, and perfectly in tune with the natural beauty of Willowdale.

Jess wore her grandmother’s necklace and earrings, and her mom helped her put them on just before the ceremony, which was such a meaningful moment. Her mom, who owns Tobie and Friends, also designed many of the personalized details from the wedding, including the custom socks, favor tags, and cocktail napkins.

The entire day was filled with such love and beautiful energy. Everyone was genuinely excited to celebrate Jess and Ben. Their STUNNING ceremony took place outside in the garden courtyard, surrounded by the estate’s beautiful landscape. Drone photos captured the magic from above, showing off the sweeping views and architectural beauty of the venue.

After the ceremony, guests mingled in the courtyard for cocktail hour before heading under the Sperry Tent for dinner and an evening of dancing. The reception was lively and full of love, bringing together the couple’s favorite people for a night of celebration they’ll never forget.
