I had the joy of capturing Brittany and David’s Boston Wedding 2.0 Photoshoot! This gorgeous couple had a big wedding planned for 2020, but due to Covid they had to rearrange their plans and opted for a very small wedding together with just a few close members of their family. Since their wedding didn’t go as they originally planned, they weren’t able to have the wedding portraits or the wedding experience they envisioned. To remedy that, they decided to do a Boston Wedding 2.0 with just the two of them to capture the wedding photos they always dreamed of having together!
Brittany and David are the absolute sweetest couple! They are 100% made for each other and have already endured so much together! Throughout it all, they kept each other laughing and focused on what was important – the two of them! The couple shared with me that their favorite thing to do together is laugh! It was so evident in their interactions with each other and the smiles on their faces how completely happy and in love they are.
Boston Wedding 2.0
For their Boston Wedding 2.0 photoshoot, we started off at the Seaport Hotel in the Seaport District of Boston. This gorgeous venue is a landmark destination for Boston with epic waterfront views. The couple chose this venue because of their love for the water and the modern look. The amazing curved staircase centered in the room was a beautiful backdrop. The dome shaped, glass ceiling provided a dramatic and beautiful setting for their wedding photoshoot.
After capturing Brittany and David in the elegant Seaport Hotel, we walked outside to the Boston Harbor to capture portraits at Fan Pier Park. This local favorite for many getting married in the area was the perfect location for a mixture of that Boston cityscape and harbor views.
Brittany LOVES details and that was one aspect they wanted to make sure was still captured! They brought along their original wedding invitations that they had made and sent to their 250+ guests for their wedding that they couldn’t even have! Brittany loved the idea of a gorgeous flat lay design to capture all of the beautiful wedding details. I love how much they appreciated the details and wanted to capture and remember it all.
It makes me so happy to know that Brittany and David will have the wedding images of their dreams to remember their joyful union. While I know their wedding might have been very different from their original vision, I love that they didn’t compromise on the details and had an absolutely stunning Boston wedding 2.0!
