To say that Katie and Steve’s dreamy Vermont wedding at Mountain Top Inn & Resort was amazing would be the biggest understatement of the year. Their wedding weekend was perfect from start to finish – between the breathtaking mountain views, gorgeous venue, beautiful details, and the joyful union of this couple! This amazing venue sits atop a central Vermont mountain with sweeping views of the surrounding Green Mountains and a nearby 740 acre lake! This picturesque wedding venue sits on 700 acres that is a mixture of woodlands and expansive meadows. Needless to say, there was no shortage of beautiful natural scenery for Katie and Steve’s magical wedding day! It is easy to see why Katie and Steve fell in love with this venue, because I sure did!

In addition to the dramatic, jaw dropping views, the couple incorporated their own flair that made their wedding more unique to them and an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance. Steve loves all things involving aviation! To incorporate that, the couple infused small details like an airplane that clipped to Steve’s bowtie, and in bigger ways like the helicopter Steve flew in on for his grand entrance to their wedding ceremony! It was AMAZING and so fun!

They also had a hot air balloon that was a giant tux themed! After the couple’s gorgeous mountain top wedding ceremony they were whisked away in the helicopter. Later after they returned, the newlyweds also took a tethered ride in the hot air balloon before going to their reception! Katie had a wonderful attitude about going in the helicopter and the hot air balloon. She knows how much Steve loves it and is so supportive of his passions. I love how much their day was a reflection of them!

During the wedding ceremony, their adorable dog, Willow, made an appearance for the ceremony and photos! Katie and Steve also had the most beautiful wedding flowers. The bright and joyful flowers came in hues of yellow, royal purple, violet, dusty pink, and baby blue. The stunning flower arrangements included sunflowers and other wildflowers, which were all locally grown in Vermont! Katie’s enchanting bouquet was wrapped in a piece of her late grandmother’s wedding dress. The same beautiful flowers decorated the wedding arch at the ceremony, and single, handpicked flowers sat in the center of tables at the reception!

The reception venue featured wooden beams, which added a bit of rustic charm. Stringed lights and green vines decorated the ceiling adding a touch of romance and elegance to the already lovely event space. The newlyweds took over the dance floor and shared endless smiles and laughter throughout the evening. You could feel and see the love that they have for each other on display, and it was beautiful to witness.
