I had the joy of capturing these college sweethearts, Mike and Ally for their Romantic Boston Wedding at The Langham. The pair actually were best friends in high school and started dating while in college! I also met Mike in college, so I was honored when the couple reached out to inquire about me capturing their gorgeous wedding day!
Their wedding venue, The Langham, Boston is an elegant, romantic venue. The historic building features gorgeous ballrooms and a lovely touch of elegant pink everywhere! I love photographing weddings here and am already looking forward to coming back in 2023! Ally and Mike share my love for this beautiful venue! They chose this venue because of its location in the heart of downtown Boston and the overall modern elegance.
Romantic Boston Wedding
I love that Mike and Ally decided to play off the pink of the venue by using rose gold, champagne, white, and blush pink in their wedding. These romantic colors complemented the venue wonderfully. Even the Veuve Clicquot champagne that Ally and her bridesmaids shared a toast with was pink! Her bridesmaids wore chic and elegant champagne colored dresses. The wedding flowers consisted of classic white and blush pink flowers. Ally was an absolutely stunning bride! She wore her great grandmother’s engagement diamond in a custom pendant necklace, designed by Barmakian.
After their beautiful wedding ceremony, I captured the newlyweds outside in the courtyard for some truly stunning wedding portraits. Green vines and flowers decorated the white pergola overhead as the newlyweds walked together, pausing to kiss and relish in the fact that they were finally married! Their reception took place in one of The Langham’s grand ballrooms. I loved Ally and Mike’s table centerpieces! A small white tree sat in the center of each round table. The branches were decorated with blush pink and rose gold ornaments with an attached thank you note for the guests to take home! Lastly, they had a beautiful spread of donuts for their wedding dessert that looked almost too good to eat!
