Cape Cod Sunset Beach Engagement

I had the absolute joy of capturing Caitlin and Brian’s Cape Cod sunset beach Engagement Session on a beautiful, warm day in September. It was the perfect time of year where the late summer meets early fall giving way to the most amazing sunsets. We were able to witness one of those epic sunsets the evening of our session which was such a treat to witness and photograph. Talk about a picture-perfect setting!

This quaint little Cape Cod beach was stunning. I loved the wooden deck that traveled along the water allowing for beautiful, sweeping views. We walked along the docks and eventually on the beach, sharing laughter and stories the entire time. Caitlin and Brian are such a fun couple. They are total goofballs with each other and it was so sweet to witness. Their personalities and sense of humor fit together perfectly!

The pair were friends throughout college but didn’t start dating until after graduation in New York City, where they are currently living. After dating for a while, Brian proposed on Mothers Day Weekend at Gramercy Park in Manhattan. Afterwards, they shared brunch with their family and then had a big party at one of their favorite bars in the West Village! Even though they still live in New York City, they wanted a Cape Cod wedding and engagement as they absolutely love this location! Since their wedding day will take place near the water, they wanted to continue that theme for their engagement. This beautiful Cape Cod beach provided idyllic scenery for their engagement portraits. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year here on the Cape!
