I am still dreaming about Ariana and Ryan’s elevated, coastal wedding celebration at Belle Mer, a Longwood Venue in Newport. It perfectly blended timeless elegance with seaside charm. As a Newport wedding photographer, Belle Mer has been on my venue bucket list. Needless to say, the opportunity to capture such a beautifully planned and heartfelt wedding here was a dream come true.

Wedding Weekend Celebration in Newport

The festivities kicked off with a warm and stylish welcome party and rehearsal dinner at Giusto, an upscale Italian restaurant in Newport. It set the tone for a joyful and elegant weekend. I loved getting to document the couple surrounded by their closest friends and family before their wedding day. One thing is certain, Ariana and Ryan are deeply loved and have such wonderful people supporting them. It’s so nice to have this extra time to get to know everyone close to the couple. You could feel the joy and anticipation of the big day ahead.

Luxurious Coastal Wedding at Belle Mer

Ariana and Ryan married on the Water Salon side of Belle Mer, a venue that boasts panoramic ocean views, crisp white architecture, and modern coastal luxury. This glamourous and contemporary venue provides a sophisticated and serene atmosphere right on the Narragansett Bay. The entire day was full of moments that reflected the couple’s vision of a neutral-toned, elevated, and timeless coastal affair. The color palette of whites, ivories, and champagne only enhanced the natural beauty of the location.

Every element of their day was intentionally curated, from Ariana’s classic Paloma Blanca gown and Jimmy Choo shoes to the timeless bridesmaids’ champagne dresses from Birdy Grey and clean and classic white bouquets by Floral Fixation.

Ariana is the kind of bride every vendor dreams of working with! We connected right away and I had so much fun getting to know her throughout her wedding planning process. She is warm, organized, go-with-the-flow, yet meticulous and thoughtful about every detail. Ariana is a dream bride and she literally picked the best of the best when it came to the vendors on her wedding day!

One of my favorite details from their day is how they honored their sweet pup, Beau. He was featured on the invitation suite and even made an appearance for portraits on the big day in a tux and everything! It was such a sweet personal touch that added so much joy!

Wedding Ceremony + Reception

Their ceremony took place outside with the ocean sparkling behind them. You could feel the love not just between them, but surrounding them. The reception was equally unforgettable, with the white, modern reception space elevated with florals that decorated the tables as well as the staircase where the newlyweds made their grand entrance. The incredible live band from Wilson Stevens Bands kept the dance floor packed all night.

One of my favorite memories from the night was Ariana’s grandmother out on the dance floor. It was a moment that truly captured the spirit of the night. Every detail was flawless, but more than that, their day was filled with so much love and laughter. Everywhere I turned, there was something to photograph, resulting in so many photos I am obsessed with from the final gallery, especially those sunset newlywed photos by the water.
