Dreamy Scotland in the Spring inspired Willowdale Estate Wedding

As a Boston wedding photographer, I see a lot of stunning, elegant venues in the area. I recently captured a dreamy Scotland in the spring inspired wedding at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Between the courtyard garden where the event was held and the exquisite details, I felt as though I had actually stepped into the countryside of Scotland. There was a romantic elegance that filled the air as the couple’s wedding day unfolded.

Willowdale Estate is just 30 miles from Boston and sits in an impressive 720-acre state forest! This private estate features historic buildings with an old world, classic charm. The courtyard garden sits behind the cobblestone mansion. The wooden pergola held up with white columns was covered in plants that decorated the frame. The sweetheart table where the couple sat had an eye-catching decorative floral display of greenery intertwined with light pink and purple flowers by Karla Cassidy Designs.

The same enchanting flowers decorated the tables at the reception. The whimsical floral display that surrounded the cake was a show stopper! The three tiered cake crafted by Eat More Cake sat in the center of the table with more beautiful flowers. A gold ring decorated with green vines surrounded the cake. Candles lined the table adding to the warmth of the scene.

Every small detail of this wedding came together to create a truly magical experience! Everytime I look at the images I am transported to the dreamy spring countryside of Scotland. It was absolutely enchanting! Willowdale Estate is a stunning venue filled with elegance, character, and charm!
