Intimate Boston Engagement

I love engagement sessions so much for a variety of reasons. It is so important that couple’s have this moment together. Engagement sessions provide a little pause button in the midst of the chaos that is known as wedding planning. Couple’s should enjoy this moment in their relationship, as it is a blip of time in comparison to the time spent dating and your life together after you say “I do”. Daley and Conor took advantage of their engagement session and infused so many special items and locations to personalize their portraits and tell their love story. Needless to say, I had the best time capturing their Intimate Boston engagement session.

To start their session, their adorable dog Beacon joined in on the fun. They walked Beacon down the very street they walked on their first date together. Daley and Conor also filled me in on a little fun fact as we walked together. They shared their first apartment together on Beacon street, so I think you can guess how sweet little Beacon got his name!

From there, we traveled all around Boston to various special places that held a lot of meaning to them. They wore the most amazing outfits for their engagement photos. I loved their elegant, sophisticated first look, which gave way to a more relaxed, romantic look later in their session.

Conor and Daley also popped champagne to celebrate this exciting moment in their lives! They celebrated by incorporating some family heirlooms and items that meant a lot to them and their families. It was moving and incredibly sweet that they wanted to include some of the most important people in their lives in their engagement session. I love that their engagement photos will truly tell a story, not just about them but about where they came from, but also adding in their own new chapters that they are writing together.

To end their intimate Boston engagement, we headed to the very spot where they shared their first kiss! I had the joy of witnessing the magic happen right before my eyes, as Conor and Daley had a moment together when they kissed again in that very same spot. It was so sweet that it brought tears to my eyes. As they shared this beautiful, intimate moment, I did not interrupt or say anything. To see them sharing this beautiful moment together was incredibly moving. Afterwards they told me they had a moment and you could just see the joy and love on their faces and the chemistry between them.

This moment was a beautiful reminder of why I do this. Capturing these special moments and memories for my couples is my passion. Knowing that everytime they see this image, they will relive that moment and the memory of their first kiss all at once brings me so much happiness.

Before we said goodbye, they switched into some Boston Bruins apparel, which I was all for! Go Bruins! I had the best time capturing this beautiful couple and I am already counting down the days to their wedding at Bristol Harbor Inn later this year!
