Boston Public Library Proposal

While I love capturing weddings, I love the excitement and anticipation of a surprise proposal! Adam had planned this Boston Public Library proposal for when he and Anna would be in town to visit friends and family. They have been doing long distance for quite some time during their relationship, but that has only made their relationship stronger! As a Boston surprise proposal photographer, I was all in when Adam reached out to me about surprising Anna for this proposal!

Adam knew he wanted to pop the question at the Boston Public Library! Having been there before, he knew this gorgeous spot would provide a stunning backdrop as he asked Anna to be his wife! The Boston Public Library is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Boston, with many wonderful locations for wedding and couple portraits! The courtyard area where Adam proposed is surrounded by beautiful architecture of arched columns. Anna was clearly taken by surprise when Adam dropped to one knee by the center statue.

To get Anna there, Adam had told Anna that they were going to meet some friends in the area. However, they were conveniently running late. To kill time, he suggested they visit the Boston Public Library. Even though he had been inside the impressive library before, he said he hadn’t. His plan worked and Anna willingly agreed to walk around the library as they waited for their friends!

Anna’s genuine reaction was priceless! It brings me so much joy knowing that I was able to capture the entire scene as it unfolded! After Anna said, “YES!” and slipped on that STUNNING engagement ring from Soha Diamond Co., I came out from my hiding spot. We then ventured around the stunning grounds of the library to capture photos of the newly engaged couple! There are so many picture perfect spots around and inside the library. The Boston Public Library is a highly sought after, luxury wedding venue in Boston and for good reason. As a Boston Public Library wedding photographer couples love this venue for its rich history, cultural influence, and “its classical serenity and elegance”.

I am so thrilled that Adam chose me to capture this exciting, monumental moment in their relationship! They are the sweetest couple and I am incredibly happy for them and their future together! Congratulations, Adam and Anna!
