Kilburn Mill Waterfront Wedding

I first met this amazing couple back in November when I captured their engagement session at a gorgeous beach in Cape Cod. I knew after meeting Kelsey + Karl and documenting their engagement, that their wedding would be amazing and it did not disappoint! One thing I vividly remember from their engagement is how much chemistry they had together! That chemistry is still there and it is clear that Kelsey + Karl are made for each other! It was such an honor to capture their stunning Kilburn Mill Waterfront Wedding in New Bedford, MA!

The decor of their wedding was gorgeous! I was blown away by the details! The wedding invitations were hand painted by Kelsey, all 200 of them! The beautiful watercolor painting on each invitation tied into their wedding day color scheme of blue and watercolor tones.

Their wedding day was perfect weather wise! Kilburn Mill is an elegant waterfront venue that features stunning spaces inside and out! Kelsey and Karl’s wedding ceremony took place outside on the venue’s rooftop overlooking the water! The couple had two ring bearers, two flower girls, and three flower babies, all of which were absolutely adorable! It was so important to them to have the kiddos involved in the wedding! They even had a wagon that was made to look like a boat to pull the babies down the aisle! It was so sweet and creative!

The Wedding Reception

After their lovely ceremony over the water, the couple headed inside the classic, bright white event space to celebrate with their guests! The room featured floor to ceiling windows with epic water views. Stringed lights decorated the ceiling, providing a romantic vibe. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, Kelsey and Karl had chocolates on the dessert table from Kelsey’s dad’s candy store! They were amazing and I love that they shared her dad’s delicious work with everyone!

I remember from their engagement session, that this couple also loves to dance! They had a blast taking over the dance floor and celebrating with their guests. It was truly a magical evening and I am so thankful to have been a part of it!
