North Shore Beach Engagement

Capturing Lauren and Nick’s North Shore beach engagement session was such a treat! They are the sweetest couple and we had an instant connection. They were so warm and welcoming and we had an amazing evening at this beautiful North Shore beach in Massachusetts. Their chemistry was on fire! Photographing their love and joy-filled expressions was such a treat. Lauren and Nick were easygoing and fun to photograph, effortlessly moving in and out of poses without much direction from me. They were so natural together, and showed in every image.

Nick is actually into photography, so we had a blast chatting throughout the session. I love meeting fellow photographers and creatives! The beach provided the perfect, romantic backdrop for their engagement photos. I always jump at the opportunity to photograph at the beach. Between the sand, rolling waves, scenic views, and gorgeous sunsets, it doesn’t get much better! While we were walking the beach, we actually encountered these two fishermen who caught a giant fish during the session! It was such a fun and memorable moment.

Lauren and Nick definitely got the memo when it came to wardrobe selection. I LOVED Lauren’s classic and elegant white dress. Nick’s neutral, but dressy outfit, complemented Lauren and made for a perfect combination. Light, soft, neutral colors always photograph well, but at the beach they complement the natural surroundings beautifully!

These two have known each other for years, as Lauren’s best friend is actually Nick’s cousin! In a way they grew up together, and at times were at the same birthday parties as kids but didn’t know it until after they got engaged! They even almost went to prom together in high school, but they didn’t end up dating until later. What a perfect combination of fate and timing. Lauren and Nick’s lives have intertwined for years, but it just took the right time for them to come together, and now they are inseparable and a perfect match at that!
