Romantic Nantasket Beach Engagement

I am beyond excited to share Lindsey and Kenan’s romantic Nantasket Beach engagement session. This amazing couple booked their session with me over two years ago, so I had been anticipating this moment and looking forward to meeting them! They were the sweetest couple and such visible chemistry. They needed no direction from me when it came to posing. They were naturals and were so comfortable with each other, which really came across in the images.

For their engagement session, they envisioned a romantic beach session. Nantasket Beach was the perfect location to capture their timeless and romantic engagement photos. Lindsey and Kenan sported two looks during their session. For their beach look, Lindsey wore a long blue and white dress that flowed in the ocean breeze. Kenan coordinated in tan pants and a blue dress shirt. Then, they changed into white shirts and dark denim jeans for their second look. We also switched up the scenery for their second look heading towards the sand dunes and along the streets of the seaside town before heading back towards the shoreline for a stunning sunset over the ocean. The images of the sun reflecting off the water, with the beach houses off in the distance are some of my favorites!

Lindsey and Kenan’s love story is a modern-day fairy tale that began in an online group chat. Over the course of three years, their friendship grew stronger. However, their friendship took a pivotal turn when Lindsey asked Kenan to be her date to her cousin’s wedding. That night they realized their feelings for each other were than just friends, leading them to officially start dating in January 2018. Despite the distance between their hometowns, their love persevered, leading to a beautiful proposal in Savannah, GA, in August 2019.

A Grand Proposal

Kenan’s proposal to Lindsey was a masterfully orchestrated treasure hunt that defied expectations. With a meticulously crafted plan, he took Lindsey on a journey that led to an unforgettable moment on Tybee Beach. As Kenan unearthed a treasure chest filled with gold bars, doubloons, and of course the engagement ring. He then got to one knee and said he had found his treasure, and asked Lindsey to be his wife. Lindsey of course said yes!

Lindsey and Kenan are set to tie the knot at Waverly Oaks Golf Club next year, with a wedding vision that beautifully blends classic elegance with a hint of color. Their chosen color palette of dusty blue, yellow, navy, and silver promises to infuse their wedding day with charm and sophistication. I can’t wait to see them again on their wedding day and capture all the memorable moments. Congratulations, Lindsey and Kenan!
