Heather and Nick’s wedding day may have been a tad rainy, but it wasn’t any less incredible! The foggy backdrop at the STUNNING Vermont wedding venue, Mountain Top Resort, made their rain filled ceremony even more magical and romantic. As Heather walked down the aisle, the sky opened up, and so did Nick’s eyes full of loving tears as he saw his bride walk toward him. The entire day truly felt like a living fairytale.
Before their wedding day, I had the joy of spending the entire weekend with this beautiful couple and their family and friends. I was so happy to be at their rehearsal dinner and welcome party prior to their wedding day. Being able to see everyone before the big day and get to know everyone is the best!
Mountain Top Resort Wedding
The couple picked Vermont because it was a central location for their families. It also helped that the venue is GORGEOUS and a beautiful location to tie the knot. Mountain Top Resort stole their hearts after they stayed the night and toured the resort the next day. Their winter visit made them feel right at home at this luxurious venue. The welcoming nature of the staff that went above and beyond was the icing on the cake.
Even though it rained the majority of the day we were still able to get ALL of their wedding photos done outside since they chose to do a first look. This is one of the many benefits of a first look, as it gives extra time in your wedding day timeline for photos and is a built-in buffer for things like weather! The horse pasture on the mountain top is gorgeous, providing magnificent views of the mountains off in the distance. We made sure to grab plenty of photos in this spot to showcase the venue’s beauty. Afterwards, everyone, armed with clear umbrellas, watched their heartfelt and joyful wedding ceremony on the mountain top.
This is one of my favorite Vermont wedding venues. It’s always so magical to be up in the clean and crisp air. Normally the sunsets are always so pink and pretty, and while the rain prevented us from seeing one of those epic sunsets, it was still a treat to see all the gorgeous natural views.
Romantic Vermont Wedding
Heather and Nick envisioned a very classic, romantic wedding day that showcased their love for one another and the individuals who have supported us along the way. Their day 100% captured their vision. Nick and Heather looked at each other with so much love and adoration that came across in every photo. The romantic, timeless style they wanted was highlighted by their wedding colors including white and hues of mauve and pinks, that were tied together with greenery.
Heather is very detail oriented and loved all of the little details of the day. Seeing all the hard work and thought that went into each detail was amazing. Everything from the invitation suite to the wedding favors was planned to perfection. The wedding reception featured stringed lights hanging from the rafters which added to the romantic atmosphere the couple wanted to cultivate. The flowers also helped bring the space to life and give it a timeless feel with sprigs of greenery surrounding dusty pink and white flowers. Heather and Nick’s Mountain Top Resort wedding day was one for the books and one I won’t soon forget.
Congratulations to the newlyweds, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your magical wedding weekend. It was such an honor!
