I recently captured Jackie and Pat’s The Commons 1854 Christmas Wedding and it was straight out of a romantic, Hallmark Christmas movie! The entire wedding day and the planning leading up to it was such an amazing experience! I loved getting to know Jackie and Pat during our time working together. Jackie had found me on instagram back before these two were engaged! When she reached out to inquire about booking, she told me that after following me on IG for a while and then chatting, she didn’t need to talk with anyone else. It was the sweetest compliment that made me feel like a movie star! I was also so incredibly humbled and honored to be a part of their special day!
The Commons 1854 is a charming wedding venue right in the heart of Topsfield, MA. The stunning architecture of the building and the grand ballroom was the perfect spot for Jackie and Pat’s wedding. They knew they wanted their wedding at The Commons 1854 because it fit their cozy, winter, Christmas inspired theme. Both of them love Christmas, especially Jackie, and having that warm, whimsical Christmas wedding was her dream. This wedding venue delivered those Hallmark vibes, and they both knew this was the venue for them!
The Commons 1854 Christmas Wedding
Jackie and Pat’s wedding perfectly married the magic of Christmas and the romance of weddings! They incorporated many traditional Christmas elements into the wedding decor. Jackie even had Christmas Tree place cards made out of ornaments that hung on a beautiful, elegant wooden tree, that SHE MADE! It was all so well planned and beautifully executed! One of my favorite elements was the fake snow the wedding guests threw as they exited the wedding ceremony! It was the perfect touch to this winter wedding!
Throughout their magical day, during the ceremony, first look, first dances, and more, you could sense Jackie’s overflow of happiness and emotion! That feeling of happiness wasn’t just contained to Jackie. Feelings of love, warmth, and joy were in abundance the entire day from everyone. I love how connected I felt to both of them during their wedding day, and I am truly grateful to have been a part of their stunning and enchanting wedding day. Congratulations, Jackie and Pat!
