After a magical first evening on Lake Geneva with a romantic boat ride, Madeleine and Nick’s wedding weekend continued with the most beautiful rehearsal dinner at Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland. Set against panoramic views of both the Swiss and the French Alps, the evening welcomed guests into the celebration with incredible weather, thoughtful design, heartfelt speeches, and an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.
Luxury Wedding Weekend at Beau-Rivage Palace
Located directly along Lake Geneva, Beau-Rivage Palace is one of the most iconic luxury hotels in Switzerland. The property combines historic European elegance with stunning waterfront views. The grounds are beautiful with meticulously maintained gardens and landscaping. As guests gathered for the rehearsal dinner and welcome party, the scenery alone completely transformed the evening.
Rehearsed & Ready: Rehearsal Dinner at Beau-Rivage Palace
The entire evening carried such a beautiful energy. Their outdoor rehearsal dinner alluded to their garden-chic wedding vision that was to come and the design itself perfectly complemented the surroundings. The elevated style embraced the natural beauty of Switzerland with open-air seating. Large, cream-colored umbrellas provided coverage over the dinner tables and vibrant yellow flowers in low vases sat at the center, adding a bright focal point. Guests mingled and enjoyed the views while live saxophone music filled the air.
Meaningful Speeches & Celebration
One of my favorite parts of rehearsal dinners is listening to the speeches and witnessing the reactions and emotions of both the soon-to-be nuptials and their guests. The speeches throughout the evening were emotional, thoughtful, and filled with so much love for Madeleine and Nick. You could truly feel how excited everyone was to celebrate them throughout the weekend. Destination wedding weekends are incredibly meaningful, because guests intentionally traveled to be there and celebrate this moment. They also add a layer of connection as they are typically more exclusive and immersive allowing for everyone to be truly present.
Madeleine and Nick’s rehearsal dinner perfectly set the tone for the wedding day ahead. Between the views of Lake Geneva, the alpine scenery, the music, and the incredible company, their welcome party was unforgettable, and this was only the beginning!
