I love this sweet couple, Jen and Matt! Their Boston Wedding at The Langham was just as sweet as them. I could feel their love throughout the entire day. I first met Jen and Matt when I photographed their Boston Engagement Session. Check out their engagement blog to read all about how they met and their proposal story! I knew from our initial meeting that these two were a perfect match.
Jen started the day off with her girls as they got wedding ready. Jen and Matt wanted a very romantic atmosphere for their wedding. To enhance their romantic vibe they chose a light pink, white, and gold color palette. The bridesmaids wore dusty pink dresses in different styles accented by bouquets of white and light pink flowers. Jen’s was a picture of elegance in her traditional, lace wedding dress.
Joyful Wedding Day Moments
Throughout their wedding day, there were so many joyful moments. One of which was their first look. As Matt turned to see Jen, he was overcome with emotion at the sight of his bride. It was such a heartwarming moment. After the couple enjoyed their moment together, we took advantage of our time and captured a few wedding portraits around The Langham Hotel and in the gorgeous courtyard. The covered walkway wrapped with greenery and twinkling lights created an enchanting backdrop for their portraits and wedding party photos.
The part of their wedding that really touched me was their emotional Ketubah Signing. This is known as the signing of the marriage contract in Judaism. For this particular wedding, the Rabbi had all of Jen and Matt’s family go around the table and tell the couple one thing they love about them and how they want to bless their marriage. It brought me, and everyone else in the entire room, to tears. It was such a special moment – I had never seen a Ketubah Signing like that before and it was such an honor to witness.
Boston Wedding at The Langham
Following the Ketubah signing was their wedding ceremony. After exchanging vows and making their union official, we grabbed a few more newlywed sunset portraits outside The Langham in the streets of downtown Boston before heading back inside for the reception.
The Langham Hotel is a stunning Boston wedding venue that I LOVE. It is seriously gorgeous and has such beautiful, amazing vibes. Plus, who doesn’t love pink? Jen and Matt clearly agree as they told me they instantly fell in love with The Langham after touring it and seeing how beautiful it is! The elegant event space was decorated with light pink flowers and gold details. It was a magical evening and I am so thankful to have been a part of it!
