There are some weddings that leave a lasting impression and Mackenzie and Rob’s Luxurious Newport Wedding at The Bohlin was one of those weddings! Their Newport wedding day was beyond gorgeous thanks to the careful planning and beautiful execution by Stephanie King Events. Her attention to detail was on point and I loved seeing everything come together and create this beautiful wedding scene. It is also worth noting that Mackenzie and Rob are a dream couple. They are incredibly sweet and welcoming, making them a joy to be around.

They had a distinct vision for their wedding day wanting it to be romantic, luxurious, and modern. The Bohlin is a dreamy setting set on the ocean surrounded by luxury yachts, stunning harbor views, and the classic elegance that can only be found in New England. This seaside venue provided the perfect setting for Mackenzie and Rob’s wedding dreams. The elegant wedding details and soft color palette of blush, white, and champagne added to the romantic aesthetic.

Wedding Portraits at The Marble House

Mackenzie’s strapless wedding gown was both timeless and modern. Mackenzie was a breathtaking bride and I am pretty sure she stole Rob’s breath away during their first look at The Marble House in Newport, RI. This historic mansion features lavish, impressive architecture of the opulent Gilded Age. It was the perfect complement to their wedding day vision as it extended their grand, luxurious, and romantic vibe. After the pair shared an intimate moment together, we explored the grounds of The Marble House for their wedding portraits. Later, wedding party portraits took place on the lush and expansive front lawn with the beautiful mansion in the background.

The stunning florals were delicate and luxe, featuring blush and white roses, white ranunculus, and white snapdragons. The soft hues paired wonderfully with the classic champagne bridesmaids dresses. Floral arrangements decorated the ground in an arch behind where the couple stood for their oceanfront wedding ceremony. It was the perfect balance of elegance and natural beauty that still allowed a clear view of the surrounding beauty of this Newport harbor. Guests sat under the sun facing the harbor full of sailboats as the couple exchanged their vows and said “I do”.

Luxurious Newport Wedding at The Bohlin

The reception took place under The Bohlin’s Sperry Tent on the dock where stunning sunset views could still be seen. Walking into the tent was breathtaking. From the large scale blush and acrylic signage, to the long Tuscan tables draped with white linens, everything was beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Crystal chandeliers were brought in as lighting, creating a fairytale-like atmosphere as white fabric draped from the ceiling all adding to the romantic, luxurious, and modern wedding day experience Mackenzie & Rob wanted.

Before settling into a night of dancing and celebration, the newlyweds and I snuck out on the docks nearby for some absolutely gorgeous sunset portraits. The warm glow of the sun, the water sparkling in the background, and Mackenzie & Rob’s bright smiles were a perfect combination. I am in LOVE with their newlywed portraits.

Later in the evening, Mackenzie changed into a fun mini dress perfect for dancing and celebrating at the after party. The Custom designed dress by Bremelia featured tulle straps, feathers, and pearls. Their wedding crew really knew how to bring a party! The celebration and dancing continued well into the night at the Surf Club.

Their entire day was amazing. Seeing all of their family and friends come together for their elegant Newport wedding by the water was so special. It was truly an honor to witness and photograph this incredible wedding. Mackenzie and Rob, thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding! cheers to you both!
