Surprise Boston Proposal at The Langham

Surprise proposals are always a whirlwind of fun, excitement, and romance. This Surprise Boston Proposal at The Langham Hotel Boston was even more special as I know the couple from college! Needless to say, I was incredibly honored when Drew contacted me to help with his proposal to Emma. It means so much to me when friends trust me with capturing their biggest life moments.

As I was assisting Drew with planning the proposal, we kept running into issues with every location we looked into. There was a 5k in Boston the day of making travel difficult throughout many of the neighborhoods. It was also forecasted to rain, so many of the outdoor spots weren’t going to work. There were many other obstacles that came into play during the planning, but we made it happen and in the end, The Langham Hotel was the perfect location!

Emma and Drew had brunch at the luxurious Italian restaurant, Grana, located in The Langham. After their brunch, the couple walked out to the courtyard to the beautiful setup that Drew and I planned. The flower petals scattered around the ground and the green vines climbing the columns and the beams overhead created a romantic atmosphere perfect for a surprise proposal. I loved being a part of this proposal and seeing all of the effort that went into Drew’s plan, all the way down to picking the color of the flower petals.

Emma was completely taken by surprise and her reaction was so sweet and genuine. After accepting Drew’s proposal, the newly engaged couple then toasted with some champagne to celebrate before capturing a few portraits. Both Emma and Drew were full of smiles. They were BEAMING! I can’t get over how sweet they are together. Having known each other for 10 years and dating for 9, they are most definitely a perfect match. Their romantic proposal was a dream and it was a joy to be a part of and witness! Congratulations, Emma and Drew!
