Today I am so excited to share part two of my blog series highlighting a handful of the best wedding venues in Massachusetts! You can view the first blog in the series, Top 10 Massachusetts Wedding Venues, here. The Boston, MA area is home to several amazing venue options. Today, I will be looking at 5 breathtaking, dreamy wedding venues! The links to all the venues featured are at the bottom of the blog for easy reference!
Misselwood Events at Endicott College
First on my list is Misselwood Events located at Endicott College. It is a stunning oceanfront venue featuring a charming and historic mansion wrapped in vines. The estate sits on meticulously cared for grounds overlooking the mesmerizing ocean waters. It is an enchanting wedding venue perfect for the wedding of your dreams. They have outdoor tent reception options so you and your guests can enjoy the estate’s panoramic views.
The Crane Estate
The Crane Estate is a jaw-dropping, luxury wedding venue! The 2,100 acre estate includes salt marshes, beaches, and a lovely hilltop mansion, making The Crane Estate an unforgettable wedding venue! There are a few venue options, ensuring that there is something for everyone! The first venue option is The Great House, which is the grand mansion sitting on the hilltop overlooking the Atlantic. You can catch these spectacular views all along the half-mile stretch of the pristine lawn.
The second venue option is The Barn. It is the perfect setting for those dreaming of an elegant, rustic wedding with an intimate feel. The historic, Italian-style Barn is located by the stunning landscape of the woodlands and salt marshes. Lastly, The Crane Estate features Steep Hill Beach! This private white sand beach is an ideal location for those dreaming of a romantic beach wedding.
The Mount
Third on the list is The Mount, an idyllic garden estate. The historic mansion that was once Edith Wharton’s house, features stunning and impressive gardens, which you can choose from for your ceremony location. Each garden provides the perfect backdrop for an elegant and magical wedding and can accommodate various wedding sizes. As you walk through the tranquil French Flower Garden, or experience the quaint Italian Garden, you will feel as though you have been transported to a different land.
The Mansion at The Hellenic Center
Next on my list of best wedding venues in Massachusetts is The Mansion at The Hellenic Center. Their website states that it is a “hidden gem of the North Shore” and “consistently voted one of New England’s finest wedding venues.” A long private drive leads you up to this show-stopping Georgian-Style mansion. The 100 year-old mansion is surrounded by magnificent gardens and pristine lawns. The magical setting is an ideal place to host your wedding and capture stunning images of your special day. Your wedding can take place at one of the many outdoor options in the beautiful natural scenery, or indoors in the elegant ballroom. The magnificent ballroom can accommodate up to 250 wedding guests.
Danversport Yacht Club
Last on my list of the best wedding venues in Massachusetts is the Danversport Yacht Club! This premier wedding destination is known as the place for dream weddings on the water! Get married on the beach with gorgeous views of the water as you enjoy the ocean breeze rolling in off the waves. After your picturesque wedding ceremony, head up to one of their three event spaces, all of which include epic waterfront views and its own outdoor area to enjoy.
The largest of the event spaces is the Harborview Ballroom, which allows for up to 650 guests. The Terrace Ballroom and Waterfront Room is a classic ballroom setting ideal for weddings of 200 – 300 guests. Last of the three event spaces is the Lighthouse Point and Courtyard. This event space is perfect for those smaller, intimate weddings under 100.
While each of the venues featured here are beautiful, elegant, and wonderful choices for your wedding day, they all have something a little different to offer. From oceanfront weddings, to enchanting gardens, to a rustic barn nestled in the woods, there is certainly something for everyone!
