I love walking the streets of Boston in the summertime! The trees lining the street are full of life, flowers are everywhere and it’s just so beautiful! Yvonne and Lorenz’s Boston summer engagement session was a dream for all these reasons and more! I had so much fun with these two walking around the charming streets of Boston and getting to know them. They were such a lovely and sweet couple. They told me they met in the Boston area while at college and oftentimes would get together to study at the Boston Public Library. Yvonne and Lorenz really value photography, which always makes me so happy to hear! We actually talked about photography almost the entire time. They were curious about my new film camera and were genuinely excited to get their photos back!
Boston Summer Engagement
This beautiful couple did a fantastic job with their wardrobe choices! Their outfits were AMAZING! Yvonne wore a white, flowy dress with delicate blue flowers on it for the first part of their engagement session around town. Lorenz coordinated his shirt to match the light blue flowers on her dress and paired that shirt with navy pants! As we headed for a scerney change to a more natural setting, Yvonne and Lorenz did a quick change as well. Yvonne wore a neutral white summer dress and Lorenz complemented her with a white dress shirt and black slacks. The light, neutral colors looked stunning against the park setting and all that gorgeous light!
While walking through the park area, we found a stunning willow tree by the water. The hanging willow branches added a romantic touch to the scenery as they hung down around Yvonne and Lorenz. The light streaming in around them and shimmering off the pond all added to the beautiful scene.
This lovely couple is a great example of a couple who had never taken professional photos together before, but did an incredible job and trusted the process! They were naturals in front of the camera and a joy to be around!
Yvonne and Lorenz, Congratulations on your engagement! I hope you treasure these moments and memories for years to come and enjoy this season of life together to the absolute fullest!
