I am thrilled to share Caroline and Jim’s Elegant New Hampshire Wedding at the stunning venue, The Barn at Powder Major’s Farm. From the first time I met Caroline and Jim at their dreamy Nantasket Beach Engagement Session, I could tell instantly that these two were meant to be. They even shared with me their story of how they met and their proposal, which you can read all about in their engagement session! One thing that stuck out was that they both stated, “we knew from the beginning.” Caroline and Jim knew they were destined to be together. Anyone who spends time with Caroline and Jim would undoubtedly agree.
Throughout their wedding day, I was also struck by the overwhelming support from their family. Everyone came together to make Caroline and Jim’s wedding a dream come true. Caroline and Jim told me prior to their wedding that family is most important to them. This was very evident on their wedding day, as the entire vibe of their big day was all about family. Jim’s mother planned everything including the beautiful decorations within the barn. Jim made homemade honey and maple syrup for their guests to take home as favors, and a relative of Caroline hand made their wedding cake, which was stunning!!

The florals decorating the wedding arch at their outdoor ceremony, the stunning wedding bouquets, and flower centerpieces at the reception were all gorgeous. I loved the garden variety of flowers that combined together to create an elegant, yet rustic aesthetic along with the scenic farmland and historic barn. Inside the barn where the reception was held, stringed lights decorated the wooden beams stretching across the ceiling. Lovely table arrangements brought their flowers and decor together. In addition to the gorgeous decorations and event space, everyone enjoyed delicious Brazilian food and desserts!
I felt such a special connection with Caroline and I really wanted her wedding day to be special, especially after hearing the tragic news of her mother’s passing from cancer about a month and a half before her wedding. I remember speaking with Caroline and her mom initially when they hired me to capture Caroline and Jim’s wedding. Caroline’s mother wanted her daughter and Jim to have the absolute best wedding AND the most amazing photos to remember it. Photography became one of the most important things to the couple for their wedding. They both know the value and important role photography plays in capturing memories, as these images will be cherished for generations.

Caroline and Jim made sure to include Caroline’s mother in their wedding day wherever possible. They honored her mother with a beautiful speech by Caroline’s brother. They also had a beautiful framed portrait of her mother that they incorporated into their family photos. It was a beautiful way to honor her.
I know that as Caroline and Jim look back on their wedding album over the years they will instantly remember all the special moments throughout the day. More than that though, I hope they feel the love from their family and friends that was so present on their wedding day.
Caroline and Jim, it has been such an honor and joyful experience working with you both. Your wedding day was not only stunning, but a beautiful reminder of things most important in life, family and love. Congratulations again!
