There’s something incredibly magical about capturing a proposal, especially when it’s set against the stunning backdrop of Boston’s skyline. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an epic rooftop proposal in Boston. This unforgettable moment was meticulously planned by Mike, who wanted to create the perfect proposal for his now fiancé, Rachel.
Although Mike and Rachel currently reside in Connecticut, Boston holds a special place in their hearts. Both attended college in Boston, and the city is filled with cherished memories of their time together. When Mike decided to propose, he knew there was no better place than the city of Boston. Mike’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the proposal. He chose a rooftop for the breathtaking views of the city skyline. He knew he wanted his proposal to be epic, and it was!

On the day of the proposal, we had a wonderful time photographing both inside and outside the lookout area. The combination of the stylish interior and the panoramic views from the rooftop created an ideal backdrop for this special occasion. As Mike dropped to one knee, watching Rachel’s shocked expression turn instantly to overwhelming joy and happiness was such a priceless moment.
