In the heart of Boston, amidst the bustling streets and iconic landmarks, I had the pleasure of capturing Jackie and Ian for their Engagement Session at Boston Common and Fan Pier Park. They were so much fun and I loved hearing all about how they met and the details of their wedding. Jackie’s vision for an elegant and enchanting wedding celebration in the city is already taking shape.
Jackie is from North Carolina where she met Ian while he was working in the area. Ian is originally from the Boston area, and since they both love the city they decided to plan their wedding in Boston next year. The couple wanted their engagement session to include beautiful Boston landmarks. For their session we headed to two of my favorite locations!
Boston Common and Fan Pier Park Engagement Session
Our first stop was the Boston Common, where the lush greenery and historic charm provided the perfect setting for Jackie and Ian’s portraits. The couple laughed together as they strolled through the city’s oldest public park.
Afterwards, we ventured to Fan Pier Park in the Boston Seaport area. Here you can find breathtaking views of the city skyline and the tranquil waters of the harbor. I love the combination of natural beauty from the water and the urban vibes from the tall city buildings. These two Boston locations provided different but equally beautiful settings for their engagement session.
Their images were even more perfect due to the couple’s excellent wardrobe selection! Jackie’s stunning cream colored outfit from Aritzia and Ian’s neutral clothing and navy suit jacket photographed wonderfully and helped create light and airy imagery. I am so in love with Jackie’s outfit that I am seriously considering getting one for myself!
Jackie and Ian’s Boston engagement session was the perfect way to document this exciting moment in their lives. The next year will be full of planning and preparations for all the stunning details of their Boston wedding. I can’t wait to see everything come together and photograph all the joyful moments of their wedding day! Congratulations!
