Emily and Brendon’s timeless waterfront wedding at Danversport on the North Shore was a dream day. Between their timeless wedding design, thoughtful planning, and genuine connection, everything about this wedding came together effortlessly. They were both full of joy and fully present on their wedding day, which meant that they relaxed into the day and enjoyed every moment as it unfolded, which is exactly as it should be.
A North Shore Venue That Truly Shines
For couples searching for a North Shore wedding venue, it’s easy to see why Danversport is such a favorite. The waterfront views are breathtaking. This venue also offers flexible event spaces with indoor-outdoor options. Not to mention, their Harborview Room is a dream with it’s all white interior and large windows looking out over the harbor.
Waterfront Wedding at Danversport
Emily was one of those brides who had a clear vision from the start. Every detail was organized, intentional, and beautifully executed, which allowed the entire day to flow with ease. Set along the water in Danvers, MA, Danversport offers the perfect backdrop for a coastal New England wedding. Emily and Brendon leaned into that with their timeless white and blue color palette. It felt fresh and elegant, and was the perfect complement to the waterfront setting.
Their theme was evident from before guests ever arrived, as their wedding invitation suite was white with light and darker blue paper pieces alluding to the wedding day color scheme and coastal location. Emily’s bridesmaids wore dresses in a lovely light blue and carried bouquets with white roses with blue flowers intermixed with greenery.
Waterfront Wedding Reception at Danversport
Daversport’s Harborview Ballroom is an all white event room with a cathedral ceiling and a grand crystal chandelier that immediately draws your attention. The large space provides an airy feeling, and when paired with Emily and Brendon’s white wedding details and pops of light blue, the result was an elegant and luxurious atmosphere.
The tables were mainly white, with large vases filled with white roses and green accents. Light blue was subtly woven in the tablescape with the menus in a light blue color and table numbers in the same blue hue.
I absolutely loved their wedding cake, which featured four white tiers, separated by a blue line, and an adorable figurine of their dog with a note that read “I do too!” Their dog also made an appearance on the signature drink sign, which was such a sweet way to honor their pup and make their day even more personal.
Natural Wedding Portraits
One of the most memorable parts of their wedding was the wedding portraits after the ceremony. Emily and Brendon were so amazing together. Some couples need a bit of direction to settle into portraits, but these two simply leaned into each other, laughed easily, and were completely present. Their connection translated so naturally on camera, creating portraits that feel both elevated and authentic.
