Iconic Boston Engagement

I had the pleasure of photographing Sara and Dan for their iconic Boston engagement session. Everything about their session was a true celebration of their love and connection, set against the stunning backdrop of the city they call home. From the moment we met, Sara and Dan exuded warmth, laughter, and an undeniable chemistry that was simply infectious. They were eager to capture quintessential Boston photos, and we did just that! I was thrilled to help bring their vision to life.

We started in the picturesque Boston Public Garden. This is one of my favorite spots for engagement photos. The sunlight shimmering on the water, the vines of the weeping willow, and the white bridge all provide the most beautiful backdrop for couple portraits. We then strolled through the charming streets of Back Bay, with its historic brownstones and bustling sidewalks before heading to the South End, near where they live, to end their session.

Sara and Dan were complete naturals in front of the camera, effortlessly showcasing their love and affection for each other. I captured their laughter and connection as we conversed about Boston, their upcoming wedding plans, and their work. They also shared their story about how they met, which I ALWAYS love hearing!

Where It All Started

The couple have been together over 7 years now. They met during their sophomore year at the University of Michigan, but didn’t start dating until their senior year. After graduation, they both moved to the NYC area. Then Dan moved to Boston for law school, and they maintained their long distance relationship for two years until Sara moved to Boston in 2020, during the peak of the pandemic. As a result, they spent the majority of their time together, just the two of them. It felt so natural and they had so much fun together, that they knew they wanted to be together for the rest of their lives.

Their Iconic Boston engagement session was one of my favorite Boston sessions. They were such a fun couple and it was so wonderful to get to know them and see their chemistry together. I am eagerly looking forward to photographing their wedding next year, where I will have the pleasure of working alongside Kelly Golia Events to bring their elegant wedding vision to life. I know Sara and Dan’s wedding day will be filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
